Why ‘Playbook’ by Rebecca Jenshak is a Must Read for Romance Lovers
We meet Brogan and London when she hears his name at the bar and realizes he is the guy who’s fan mail has been cluttering her mailbox. Brogan is an attractive professional football player and doesn’t realize he is being sent panties and heavily perfumed letters from ladies claiming to be fans. Thinking he’s a playboy, and just wanting to the panty deliveries to stop, London confronts Brogan and the story develops from there….
What did I think? This book was a 5 star for me! There was a slow, sort of grumpy/sunshine friendship that budded between them. Even though Brogan is a total flirt, it isn’t until there is a solid companionship and trust between them that things develop further. I loved their witty banter and how genuine Brogan seemed to be. If you want a guy that is loving, funny, understanding and down right sexy – then Brogan Six is your guy!
This novel had a great balance of plot and spice with no over the top drama. I was excited to keep reading and did not feel the need to skim over any chapters. It also made me super excited for Archer’s story! I love when a character isn’t just the conventional playboy so I have high hopes his story will have a lot of depth.
One of my favourite quotes: “I’m yours, sweetheart. In case that wasn’t obvious, I’m telling you outright. I don’t want anyone else but you.”
*If you’re looking for a cute, funny, easy read – I highly recommend Playbook by Rebecca Jenshak!*
