Discover Your Next Literary Crush: Top 10 Book Boyfriends
They’re all hot so I’ll list the other reasons I like them.
In order from absolute favourite to still a favourite.
1. Noah Reilly (Say You Swear)
“Falling in love with me didn’t mean she fell out of love with him. it meant she loved us both. I want her to love me more.”
The outstanding patience and true love expressed by this man brought me to tears. I have not found any other man more deserving of the number one spot.
2. Archer Hale (Archer’s Voice)
“I want to be able to love you more than I fear losing you, and I don’t know how. Teach me, Bree. Please teach me. Don’t let me destroy this.”
A damaged man with a tragic history but who has a heart of gold and deserves all the goodness in the world. Past the gruff exterior was the sweetest guy.
3. Maddox (Her Greatest Mistake)
“It’s always been you…I have never wanted to be like this with anyone else. Not once.”
This guy proves love can be found young. Maddox has been in love with his girl since childhood and “saves” himself for her even after breaking his heart. That’s a man that I head over heels in love.
4. Cameron Hamilton (Wait For You / Trust in Me)
“Seeing her…well, it was like seeing the sun after days of rain.”
The sweetest and cutest guy ever. He was funny and patient. If you’re looking for just a genuine cutie who oozes love, this is the guy.
5. Rowdy Wade (Jock Row)
“Never have I ever considered a girl one of my best friends.” “Never have I ever wanted to kiss one of my friends.”
Rowdy was so funny and stinking sweet that I couldn’t stop from falling for him. Sometimes it’s those cute, goofy guys that surprise you.
6. Theo Brooks (Weakside)
“Tell me you’re mine, Bryant. Tell me you trust me, and tell me that you can feel how much I love you just from the way I look at you.”
Even when they were frenemies / roommates he couldn’t help himself from looking for out for her and grew to be the sweetest boyfriend ever.
7. Cal (Optimist’s Guide to Heartbreak)
“I’m sorry for not being able to love you, because everything I love dies. And if I lose you, it’ll finally be the goddamn end of me.”
Oh Cal… you damaged, beautiful man. He wasn’t perfect in the traditional sense, he had a lot of flaws and didn’t always make the right choices. But he felt so deeply and truly once he did allow himself to fall that I empathized with his faults and loved him anyway.
8. Kingston (Forbidden King)
“Dandelion, I finally know what I want to wish for.. Love, King.”
I don’t love a guy that sleeps around because he’s convinced he can never have the girl he truly wants. BUT, he was so protective of Saylor their whole lives and truly would do anything for her. You could feel their bond through the pages and he became a guy worthy of Saylor.
9. Jordan (Tutoring the Player)
“I’ll text you later.” “But then I can’t see your face when I tell you that I missed you.”
Jordan was a bit sneaky and maybe wasn’t fair with the “bro code” but Liam couldn’t compete with the natural chemistry Jordan and Daisy shared. He was a loveable goofball and I love a guy that isn’t scared to share his feelings.
10. Christian Allister (The Maddest Obsession)
“If you weren’t in this world anymore, I would find a way to take myself out of it.”
Christian’s not necessarily a good man… He makes my list in the “in another world it’s ok if you’re in an organization and unalive people for a living because you give off strong, protective man vibes” kind of way. He fiercely protects Gianna and the speaking to her in Russian was a sexy bonus.
Really that’s just a drop in the bucket. I mean we read these books because there’s an endless supply of fictional boyfriends that win us over!
